Mission
Mosaic is the place where we generously share, serve and go. We believe that it is the call of our Lord Jesus to go into the world and declare the good news of the Gospel. We do this in two ways, by sharing and serving. The Gospel is good news to those in need, so it needs to be shared through our voices and stories. It is also to be lived out in our lives, so the good news is accompanied by works of blessing and serving those in need. This call is to be lived out in both our local community and in the world abroad.
Central to our call to Mission, Mosaic is committed to planting multiethnic churches in communities across York and the regions beyond. We believe this is God’s primary plan for reaching the world with the good news about Jesus!
Haitian Refugee Assistance Plan
Mosaic City church and York Alliance church are taking steps to care for the sojourner among us by assisting a group of Haitian refugees who are currently living in York County. There is great need among some sixty or more families who find themselves living in sub-standard housing with little food or money, with barriers in English language communication, and with no one to assist them.
The Mosaic and York Alliance church families are invited to play a role in helping these overlooked people by participating in two ways.
Local Mission
Mosaic City Church is committed to sharing the Gospel and investing in our local community through the following ministries.
Human Life Services is a compassionate, life-affirming ministry that addresses the spiritual, emotional and material needs of both mother and child in pregnancy. The organization exists to demonstrate unconditional love to those struggling with questions and decisions about their unborn child.
Sparrow Place is a faith-based nonprofit that stands against the injustices of human trafficking in York County. Their mission is to establish a safe house in York County where women survivors of sex-trafficking can receive long-term therapeutic care in order to heal and reclaim their lives.
Miss Bobbi’s House strives to serve the City of York by providing a safe, Christ-centered temporary residence along with services designed to support the needs of the family who are experiencing homelessness.
New Life Center for Mothers & Children
New Life Center for Mothers and Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting women with children in their transition back into society. Their residency discipleship program is committed to meeting the emotional, physical, spiritual, and academic needs of women with life-controlling problems such as drugs and alcohol.
Young Life & YoungLives of York City
A local ministry in York City schools that introduces adolescents to Jesus Christ and helps them grow in their faith.
